Landform receives 2020 Okanagan Housing Award of Excellence

Landform Architecture, along with Benedet Signature Homes, received an Okanagan Award of Excellence for Innovative Design for Trader’s Cove, a project on the shores of Okanagan Lake. This waterfront home north of Kelowna is threaded like pearls along a linear path that leads from the road, under the house, to the lake. First in the sequence are a guest bedroom and garage, then an internal courtyard which draws the natural hillside to the east down and into the heart of the home. Living spaces are at courtyard level, and below the living room is an outdoor covered living space opening to the lake. Interior spaces feature floor to ceiling windows onto the view, polished concrete floors, and wood slat ceilings.
